I'm going to keep this page up, and eventually figure out how to post the archives, but for anything current.....like, say, KMFDM and Thrill Kill Kult pictures...and a whole lot of poking people.....refer to the new site.
I promise to stop being lazy and update this thing. I have soooo much to talk about, between parties and concerts and friends and....well, making new friends.....and getting on KMFDM's guestlist.....photos too.
I also promise to get onto Live Journal so everyone will stop asking...when i have time.
So....after a lovely visit with my Grandma and Aunts on Long Island....my brother managed to get me lost driving home....soooo, I drove through NYC for the first time! (Haha, and all 5 boroughs)
It sucked I needed to get up early to work, but the drive was amazing! Exiting the Mid-town Tunnel on 34th Street was such a trip to see! Being able to see Times Square and the Empire State and Chrysler Building from the freeway is even cooler.
Driving through NYC is such an awesome experience...I've always wanted to do it, and I really never thought I'd have the opportunity since I moved. Last night kinda helped give me a little NY closure. Not to mention get over fears, driving in Mid-town being one of them.
On another note, I'm the last STAR on my shift, which is nice. This trip is exactly the opposite of Tennessee, I'm so free to be alone. Granted, I had an absolute blast in Tennessee....but I'm loving having my own car.....having quiet in the hotel...and not really having to answer to anyone. I'm squeezing in time with my family and old friends, yet, i'm not obligated to anyone. Its nice. Very nice. I kinda miss having Clint around all the time, but the solitude is appreciated.
I propose a freeway from Beacon to Rhinebeck, that branches out to New Paltz. The drive up Rt 9 from Fishkill to the Poughkeepsie/Hyde Park area is much too lame.
I suppose the problem is that the only thing going on in Fishkill is the Gap and my hotel. (hahaha, unless you count the "cocktail party" going on in the hotel lobby right now, haha. Clint said we oughta get in our best outfits and invite all of our friends to rock out.)
Anyway...but, its all good. All the new STARs that came in are on 2nd and 3rd shift, and Clint leaves Friday, so after that, the car is all mine. He's super-fun to hang out with, but I'm definitely looking forward to the freedom of coming and going when I please. Meaning I'll be much more open to making plans with everyone.
I'm going to the Chance tomorrow for Ministry and Thrill Kill Kult. Sucks I gotta work the next morning, but it will be fun none-the-less. I haven't been to the Chance in about a year or so, I'm really looking forward to seeing all my old bouncer friends.
I just sound blah because I've been working 60 hours a week, but its all good. I've still been having a really good time. I had a total blast at the Batcave this weekend. It was a really good crowd, only 5 of us-and 5 people that are hella fun to be around-which made the night perfect. Add in some random dinners and the occasional drinks and I can't complain one bit.....
I'm also picking up a shift at Starbucks this weekend, I actually miss it there. I didn't realize how much I like the job and my crazy co-workers, haha.
I need to get to the city sometime soon, just to walk around a bit and absorb the culture and vibe that only New York City offers. The time is flying by quickly, hopefully I'll get extended...
Anyhow, I need to get to the gym, I've been feeling way too lazy recently. Haha, kinda ironic considering how little time I have to relax :)

Batcave tonight! I'm very excited, I haven't been there since I moved.
I'm also excited to have tomorrow off, these 60 hour weeks are tough!
So...I found out more Stars are coming in from Fresno. I'm honestly not looking forward to their arrival, I don't necessarily want this to be Tennessee #2. Ohh well.
